Jefferson County has many opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.

People in need of residential services, may choose to live in a their own home or apartment with support staff as needed, or they may choose to live in a group home or a family based setting.

People may request assistance in acquiring vocational skills or job placement services where they can participate in paid work experiences.

Training and supports are based upon an individuals support plan which is developed by the person and the friends and support staff that he/she may choose.
